KATHMANDU: Nepal women's football team have won a friendly match against Malaysia at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Saturday.

Sabitra Bhandari's goal in the 27th minute helped Nepal take a lead over Malaysia.

Even in the second-half, Malaysia could not score a goal and the match ended in favour of Nepal.

The match is a part of preparation for the Nepali team, which is scheduled to participate in the Women's SAFF Championship slated for December 26 to January 4 in Siliguri, India.
