Nepal to take on Namibia on Monday in ICC WCL Championship

KATHMANDU: Nepal will play against Namibia in the final round of the ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Championship on Monday at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal had earlier defeated the African nation with five wickets and the hosts now look to beat the opponents to rise up in the eight-team standing table.

Nepal are at the sixth position, above Namibia and the United Arab Emirates.

After defeating Namibia comprehensively yesterday, Nepal hope to defeat them again buoyantly in front of thousands-strong noisy crowd in their support on the home soil.

Only the top four teams of the Championship will secure their berth for the 2018 ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
