LALITPUR: GEMS, Modern Indian School and Kathmandu University High School recorded victories in the 22nd Fr Moran Memorial Invitational Primary Football Tournament on Tuesday.

GEMS thrashed Dolphin School 6-1. Dormani Giri netted four goals alone for GEMS, while Alish Vaidya and Pranshu Joshi scored a goal each. Nishant Tamang replied for Dolphin.

Similarly, Modern India beat Pushpanjali 2-0 riding on a brace from Binayak Bhandari. Also, Kathmandu University beat Rosebud School 2-0 on goals from Prajul Jangum and Sugam KC.

A total of 15 teams are competing in the event organised by St Xavier’s Godavari School.
