Nepal COVID-19 Update: 127 new cases, 136 recoveries and two fatalities recorded on Friday

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,111,649 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 4,000 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 79 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,707.

127 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 272,557.

As many as 136 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 268,796.

Meanwhile, two fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll reached at 2,054.

As of today, the country has witnessed 272,557 cases of the coronavirus infection while 268,796 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,054 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
