Health Post in rural Bajura begins regular health services

Due to availability of modern facilities including ambulance service, lab facility, blood collection for emergency usage, and x-ray machine, the health post has become a model facility for remote locations of the district

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 22

Tate Health Post in Budhiganga Municipality of Bajura district has started providing regular health services in the presence of a doctor.

The municipality has deployed a doctor, currently on a temporarily basis, to provide regular health services through the facility for the first time, shared mayor of the municipality Deepak Bikram Shah.

Tate Health Post, which is also being utilised as a temporary Covid-19 treatment centre, has started regular health services, reiterated health coordinator of the municipality, Deepak Shah.

The locals are jubilant, following the initiation of services including regular health check-up, consultation, and distribution of medicines from Sunday.

Neighbouring local levels including Triveni and Chhededaha municipalities, among others, will also benefit from the services at the health post.

Due to the inclusion of modern facilities and medical equipment including ambulance service, lab facility for testing, blood assembling for emergency usage and x-ray machine, the health post has been regarded as a model (namuna) health facility for remote localities of the district.
