Nepal COVID-19 Update: 81 new cases, 62 recoveries and two fatalities recorded on Saturday

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 27

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,160,404 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 2,824 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 62 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 967.

81 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 274,065.

As many as 62 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 270,325.

Meanwhile, two fatalities were reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll has reached at 2,773.

As of today, the country has witnessed 274,065 cases of the coronavirus infection while 270,325 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,773 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
