Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,113,549 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 1,900 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 81 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,631.
57 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 272,614.
As many as 133 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 268,929.
Meanwhile, no fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 2,054.
As of today, the country has witnessed 272,614 cases of the coronavirus infection while 268,929 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,054 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
