Nepal COVID-19 Update: 78 new cases, 72 recoveries and no fatalities recorded on Tuesday

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,170,112 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 4,127 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 58 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 974.
78 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 274,294.
As many as 72 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 270,543.
Meanwhile, no fatality was reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 2,777.
As of today, the country has witnessed 274,294 cases of the coronavirus infection while 270,543 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,777 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
