KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 16
Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,123,951 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 3,360 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 74 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,587.
105 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 272,945.
As many as 99 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 269,303.
Meanwhile, no fatality was confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 2,055.
As of today, the country has witnessed 272,945 cases of the coronavirus infection while 269,303 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,055 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
