Nepal COVID-19 Update: 48 new cases, 61 recoveries and no fatalities recorded on Friday

KATHMANDU, MARCH 12

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,210,434 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 2,512 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.

At present, there are 51 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 929.

48 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 2,75,118.

As many as 61 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 2,71,177.

Meanwhile, no fatality was reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll remains at 3,012.

As of today, the country has witnessed 2,75,118 cases of the coronavirus infection while 2,71,177 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 3,012 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
