KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 26
Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,157,580 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 3,944 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 71 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 936.
112 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 273,984.
As many as 54 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 270,277.
Meanwhile, four fatalities were reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death toll has reached at 2,771.
As of today, the country has witnessed 273,984 cases of the coronavirus infection while 270,277 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,771 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
