UML MPs given seven days to withdraw no confidence motion

KATHMANDU, MARCH 24

A meeting of the CPN-UML province no. 1 parliamentary party has given the Provincial Assembly members a week to withdraw the no-confidence motion registered against the government.

This was the first meeting of the PP following the reinstatement of the CPN-UML, as per the order of the Supreme Court. It may be noted that 37 members have signed the no-confidence motion registered at the provincial assembly secretariat.

The PP also constitute a 15-member parliamentary board convened by Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai.
