Nepal COVID-19 Update: 167 new cases, 115 recoveries and three fatalities recorded on Tuesday

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Till date, 2,267,408 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 3,140 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 53 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,390.
167 new cases of the coronavirus infection were registered today taking the national tally to 277,147.
As many as 115 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 272,727.
Meanwhile, three fatalities were confirmed by the Ministry today, with which the country's COVID-19 death toll has reached to 3,030.
As of today, the country has witnessed 277,147 cases of the coronavirus infection while 272,727 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 3,030 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
