CPN (UML)'s party headquarters formally comes into operation from Thapathali

KATHMANDU, APRIL 22

​​​​​​The party headquarters of ruling CPN (UML) has formally come into operation from Thapathali in Kathmandu, on Thursday.

Prime Minister and CPN (UML) chairperson, KP Sharma Oli, inaugurated the party office today, informed the party office secretary Ishwori Rijal.

On the occasion party's General-Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, and Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Shankar Pokhrel, were present.

The party headquarters which has 12 rooms is constructed in area of around three ropanis of land.

Earlier, CPN (UML) had been running its activities from Dhumrabarahi-based party office which was shifted from Madannagar, Balkhu, after the devastating earthquake in 2015.
