BAJURA, APRIL 28

Bajura district has been declared a district that has ensured and sustained complete vaccination of children below 15 months.

The district has vaccinated all children below 15 months with eight vaccines against 12 transmittable disease, claimed Daya Krishna Pant, chief of District Health Office, Bajura.

According to the District Health Office, there are around 6,000 children below 15 months in the district.

'To ensure complete vaccination, not a single children should miss even a dose of vaccine,' informed Mahesh Chand, at District Health Office.

The DHO has also completely vaccinated all the children from 16 months to 23 months here, and it was after ensuring that all children in the district have been completely vaccinated that Bajura was declared complete vaccination ensured and sustainable district, informed, Narendra Rokaya, Chief of District Coordination Committee and Chair of Vaccination Coordination Committee, Bajura.
