The People's Republic of China is preparing to send medical supplies to Covid-19 hit Nepal, soon.

China's Foreign Ministry, at a presser organised on Friday, stated that China is aware of Nepal's situation and the rapid spread of coronavirus infection in the country. 'China will provide all kinds of support to Nepal,' the Ministry's spokesperson Wang Wenbing said.

He further said that China has collected the new batch of medical supplies to provide to Nepal and will send them as soon as possible. 'The Chinese government and all sectors of society are actively donating materials to Nepal.'

Earlier in April, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during a video conference with Foreign Ministers of five South Asian nations including Nepal, had expressed commitment to provide support to the Covid-19 hit nations.
