KATHMANDU, MAY 10

The National Examinations Board (NEB) has suspended the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and examinations of Grade 12, on Monday.

A board meeting held today morning postponed the SEE and Grade 12 exams that were scheduled to start from Jestha 13 (May 27) and Jestha 26 (June 9) respectively, until further notice.

With the country seized with the new and more virulent variant of coronavirus, there was little hope of previously scheduled examinations being held that required physical presence.

However, this notice has brought a sense of security to schoolchildren and their parents from the possible risk of infection.
