Prohibitory order extended in Doti

Prohibitory order imposed to prevent and control the coronavirus infection since May has been extended till July 4 in Doti.
'A meeting of the District COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre today decided to this effect,' said Chief District Officer Sunil Khanal.
The Centre informed that fruit shops, groceries, and construction material outlets would remain open from 7:00am to 11:00am during the prohibitory period.
Similarly, public vehicles will be allowed to provide their services on the basis of oddeven system across the district. Banks and financial institutions can provide services from 10:00am to 1:00pm by following health and safety protocols every day.
Likewise, vehicles used for development works and carrying construction material will be allowed to operate by following health and safety protocols.
'However, activities like seminars, workshop, sports activities and meetings involving the gathering of large number of people, have been restricted,' reads a notice.
Doti district has 1,300 active cases of coronavirus infection. A total of 11 people have lost their lives due to the contagion in the district so far.
