KATHMANDU, JULY 7

Following a series of meetings of the taskforce formed to erase existing differences between two rival factions of ruling CPN-UML, leaders of two dissenting sides -- KP Sharma Oli and Madhav Kumar Nepal -- have met up for a meeting in the capital, today.

The duo are holding discussions on the progress made by the taskforce through discussions so far, points of consensus and remaining issues of difference, as per a UML source.

A few other leaders of the UML too are present at the meeting, it has been learnt.

The meeting is being held at the Marriott Hotel, where Oli and Nepal had previously met in a bid to chalk out differences.
