Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) proposes 8.50 per cent cash dividend

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 21

Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) has proposed to distribute dividends to the shareholders from the FY 2077/78.

A meeting of the board of directors held on September 20, 2021 proposed to distribute 8.50 per cent cash dividends (including tax).

The proposal is yet to be approved by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) had a paid-up capital of Rs 20 billion of which announced cash dividend amounts to Rs 1.70 billion.

Earlier, NIFRA had issued 8 crore units of shares for subscription by the general public through IPO. This is still the biggest IPO in the Nepali capital market.
