OKHALDHUNGA, NOVEMBER 11
A dry landslide has been taking place near the banks of the Dudhkosi River at Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality of the district for around two weeks. The landslide started near Chune of the Dudhkosi Corridor Road.
Harka Bahadur Rai, a local of Unbu, said the dry landslide has been occurring for the last 20 days.
The landslide is said to be around 250 metres long. It was intense one week ago and has now somewhat subsided. The landslide debris that has directly fallen into the river has blocked the water flow in the river.
Around 12 houses at Ribdom of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality are at high risk from this landslide.
