Nepal records 305 fresh COVID-19 cases, four fatalities on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 24
Nepal recorded 305 new coronavirus infections in last 24 hours, pushing the nationwide tally to 820,004 while the death toll climbed to 11,513 with four fatalities today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 801,122 with 232 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 9,920 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 7,590 were PCR tests while 2,330 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,584,556 PCR tests have been carried out till date.Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 27 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 332.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 97.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.4%.
The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 7,369.
Currently, there are 98 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
On Tuesday, Nepal had witnessed 313 cases of the coronavirus infection while nine persons succumbed to the disease in the same period.
