KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2
CPN-UML party Chair KP Sharma Oli has said that those responsible for toppling the government led by their own party and supporting others to form a new government cannot bring socialism to the nation.
In his virtual address to a greetings exchange programme organised by the Prabasi Nepali Manch (Overseas Nepali Forum), the international committee that is close to the UML on the occasion of English New Year 2022 last night, the former prime minister slammed the role of the 'force not wishing to see stability and good governance' for ousting of the UML-led government.
Stating that the party would take the lead in dealing with mandate of prosperity after the people's new verdict, he urged overseas Nepalis for support towards that end.
UML foreign department Chief Rajan Bhattarai expressed hope of getting support from Nepalis residing overseas in getting the aspiration for 'prosperous Nepal, happy Nepali' realised.
