‘Govt not capable enough to deal with problems’

RAJBIRAJ, JANUARY 7

CPN-UML secretary and Province 2 in-charge Raghubir Mahaseth has said the present government is incapable of resolving the problems facing the nation.

Addressing the inauguration of his party's 9th Saptari district convention at Raj Stadium of Rajbiraj today, the UML leader called the government as born out of 'unholy coalition' and said, 'Everyone knows how this government came into being, by way of the court's ruling and an unholy marriage among small parties, so it's clearly out of question that such a government that lacks people's trust can resolve any of the problems facing the country.'

Further, Mahaseth described his party as still the largest party in the Parliament and accused CPN-Unified Socialist chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN-MC Chair Puspa Kamal Dahal of enemies of the communist movement.

'In fact, it's only UM, which is the largest party in the Parliament now, that is capable of resolving the problems of the nation facing now,' he said.
