The Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu takes on a vibrant and colorful appearance during this time of the year, as hundreds of sadhus (Hindu holy sages) gather at the sacred shrine to observe the annual Maha Shivaratri festival.
Covered in ash, Hindu holy men participate in a religious procession ahead of Maha Shivaratri, a festival dedicated to Lord Shiva, at Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
