Kalyan Foundation provides scholarship to vulnerable children in Bajura

The Kalyan Foundation has provided scholarship to as many as 10 vulnerable children in Bajura. The scholarship program was launched to assist the orphaned and children in need of financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Kalyan Foundation, USA, had established the scholarship program in coordination of Badimalika Media house, informed Kashi Adhikari, a member of the foundation.
Khagendra Dhami (5), Chetan Khatri (6), Jenisha BK (8), Ashmita Khatri (10), Binod Nepali (16), Kapil Nepali (98), and Dipika Timilsena (5) of Badimalika Rural Municipality in Bajura received scholarships from the foundation.
Similarly, scholarships were awarded to Raksha Malla (15) of Silgadi Municipality in Doti and Gita Joshi of Godawari Municipality in Kailali.
Gita is the daughter of murdered journalist JP Joshi.
The 10 youngsters received stationery, a bag, an outfit, and some cash, each.
Kumari Dhital Lamitare, the foundation's chair, stated that the foundation will continue to assist them on a regular basis.
