Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed security agencies to help organise the May 13 local election in a fair and impartial way as the government has shouldered the responsibility to this effect.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed security agencies to help organise the May 13 local election in a fair and impartial way as the government has shouldered the responsibility to this effect.

At a gathering of Nepali Congress cadres today here at Rajbiraj in Saptari district, minister Khand, also the NC leader, urged all political parties to participate in the poll in a cordial way.

Claiming that changes in the country would be accelerated following the election, he urged people to vote for the NC for safeguarding and strengthening democracy.
