Nepal records 438 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.3%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 4,369 on Saturday as 292 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 986,100 while the death toll reached to 11,966 as two fatalities was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 969,765 with 277 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,699 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,779 were PCR tests while 1,920 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,813,930 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 146 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
