Alliance to continue even after election: PM

DADELDHURA, NOVEMBER 5

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said it was necessary for the country to have the government of the ruling alliance even after the election.

'The alliance government is imperative after election to protect the constitution and inclusive politics,' PM Deuba, who is also the president of Nepali Congress, said, adding that democracy and inclusive constitution gained with much efforts must be protected. He made this remark at an election assembly organised at Bhadrapur of Ajaymeru Rural Municipality.

Pointing at the futility of the speech given by the opposition leaders in Darchula about reclaiming Limpiyadhura, PM Deuba said only through diplomatic talks Nepal could reclaim the encroached land.

The PM shared that the current coalition was formed against the act of dissolving the Parliament.

He expressed his confidence that a coalition government would be formed after the upcoming election.

'We moved to the court after we felt it was enough,' he reminded.

The head of the government pledged to establish a medical college and airport in Dadeldhura.

'No pregnant woman will have to die for lack of treatment,' Deuba vowed.

For building airport, PM Deuba assured feasibility study. Stating that many development works were carried out in Dadeldhura district, The PM pledged to deliver on the remaining tasks.

On a different note, he claimed that development of Sudurpaschim Province would be faster if Nepali Congress and CPN-Maoist Centre joined hands.
