JHAPA, NOVEMBER 17
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli commented that CPN-Maoist Centre, which he had pasted on his party with glue stick, had removed the glue and splintered from the UML.
Addressing a mass meet organised by his party at Jhapa's Mechinagar, Oli claimed that the hammer and sickle carried by Pushpa Kamal Dahal was bogus. He held that Dahal's clout would cease to exist post November-20 polls. He argued that only his party had the vision to save the country and people. 'Only UML can collect resources from inside and outside the country,' Oli claimed.
Oli came down heavily on the five-party alliance and said that the ruling parties had forged an electoral alliance fearing the power of the CPN-UML.
'They are conspiring to prevent the UML from winning and they are weaken the nation and nationality', Oli stated.
