KATHMANDU, NOVMEBER 21

Nepali Congress' candidate for the House of Representatives election, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali, has been elected by the voters of Mustang's only electoral constituency.

Gauchan secured 3996 votes, sealing his victory against CPN-UML's candidate Prem Prasad Tulachan, who garnered 3078 votes. Tulachan had won the 2018 general elections from the same consituency defeating NC's Romi Gauchan.

A resident of Thasang valley in the district, Gauchan is a hospitality entrepreneur.
