Kathmandu, January 12

The National Concerns and Coordination Committee of the National Assembly has called for complete implementation of Foreign Policy, 2020.

The Committee held a meeting today and asked Foreign Affairs Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal to fully implement the policy.

Committee President Dil Kumari Rawal Thapa (Parbati) said the discussion programme was organised to do away with the obstacles that could surface in the implementation of the policy.

During the meeting, the NA members said that Nepal's economic diplomacy was poor and asked for provisions to give passport to citizens from the Area Administration Offices in the hilly districts.

Likewise, the lawmakers raised the issue to address India's decision to import power produced only by the Indian investors, and concerns about the president's message of best wishes published in the stateowned media on the military government of Myanmar without sending such message for the government there.
