SURKHET: Nepal Olympians Association organised the School to Olympics programme with an aim of attracting the students in sports here on Monday. The second round of the programme was held in Jumla and Surkhet districts of Karnali Province.

Olympians Deepak Bista, Debu Thapa and Kamal Bahadur Adhikari and 13th South Asian Games gold medallist Deepak Hamal shared their sports journey with students of seven schools of Surkhet. Olympian Hari Rokaya joined the three Olympians in the programme in Khalanga, Jumla on February 24. The NOA has already organised the programme in Sudurpashchim Province with similar sessions in Dhangadhi and Kanchanpur.

According to NOA President Deepak Bista, the School to Olympics programme will be organised in all seven provinces with the objective of luring students to sports.
