KATHMANDU: Recognising that banking facilities should be within everyone's reach, Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has launched the first disability-friendly automated teller machine (ATM) at the Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre at Sanga in Kavre district.

The ATM was jointly inaugurated on Friday during a ceremony organised on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre by Banepa Municipality Mayor Shanti Ratna Shakya, President of Himalayan Bank Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha and Chairman of Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Center Dr Shanta Dixit, as per a press statement.

The Chief Executive Officer of HBL Ashoke SJB Rana and other high-ranking HBL staff and the organisation were also present.
