Tamang in Australia

KATHMANDU: Nepal No 1 amateur golfer Subash Tamang on Saturday left for Australia to participate in the AAC Academy slated for May 15-19 in Melbourne.
The Executive Committee of the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) - represented by The R&A, the Masters Tournament and the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) - had invited Tamang for the special training at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club.
The experienced team of experts in coaching, sports science, fitness and other areas will deliver sessions to the players in the AAC Academy, which is organised to enhance the abilities, skills and prepare the players for the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship slated for October 26-20 in Melbourne.
Tamang and his fellow national team member Sadbhav Acharya will represent Nepal in the tournament.
