KATHMANDU: Chitwan District Cricket Association felicitated youth cricketer Suryanshu Koirala here on Wednesday.

Koirala is the member of the Nepali team that won the title of the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup in Malaysia last week. Koirala, who hails from Chitwan and is studying in India, played in all four matches in Kuala Lumpur to help Nepal complete a hat-trick of titles in the U-16 tournament.

Cricket Association of Nepal Treasurer Roshan Singh, Member Prashant Bikram Malla, Chitwan District Cricket Association Vice-president Umesh Piya and Members Utsav Shrestha and Raju Gupta honoured Koirala and handed over Rs 25,000 along with felicitation letter.
