Four new ministers inducted in Koshi Province government

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 25

Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki expanded his Cabinet by inducting four new ministers: two full ministers and two ministers of state.

The newly appointed ministers were assigned different portfolio, Leela Ballabh Adhikari - Responsible for internal affairs and law.

Likewise, Buddhi Kumar Rajbhandari - In charge of water supplies, irrigation, and energy. Ram Prasad Mehata - Handling the state portfolio of industry, agriculture, and cooperative. Niran Rai - Responsible for the state's economic affairs and planning.

These appointments were made in accordance with Article 168 (9) of the Constitution.

During a ceremony on Monday, Province Chief Parshuram Khapung administered the oath of office and secrecy to ministers Adhikari and Rajbhandari. Similarly, ministers of state Mehata and Rai took the oath of office and secrecy before the Chief Minister.
