KATHMANDU: Ncell organised four friendly football matches under 'Purple Kickoff' to mark its 18th anniversary here at the iconic Lainchaur grounds in Kathmandu.

The participating teams included celebrities, veteran football players, representatives from the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF), Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF), and Lainchaur Youth Club in the seven-aside football tournament. 'These matches were part of an extended celebration to commemorate the significant milestone in Ncell's journey, connecting Nepal and Nepalis since the past 18 years,' said Ncell in a release.

'In line with the anniversary theme, 'Here for You,' several other activities and events are planned as part of the extended anniversary celebrations.

These activities include blood donation, health camps in areas with low human development indices, and celebrity visits to Ncell Centres to interact with customers, among other events.'
