Rs 280 million deposited in PM's Disaster Relief Fund

At least Rs 280 Million Collected for Jajarkot Earthquake Victims in Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.

Narayan Prasad Bhatta, the spokesperson at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, reported that the fund dedicated to Jajarkot earthquake victims has collected over Rs 279.89 million.

This significant amount was made possible through the generosity of over 117 depositors, including individuals and associations.

The earthquake, measuring 6.4 magnitude, struck two months ago on November 3, with its epicenter located at Barekot, Jajarkot, claiming the lives of over 150 people.

Furthermore, the disaster has affected more than 67,000 households.
