Gold prices drop by Rs 300 per tola on Tuesday, silver remains stable

The price of gold experienced a decline of Rs 300 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA), fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 117,700 per tola, marking a decrease from yesterday's rate of Rs 118,800 per tola.
Similarly, tejabi gold is now valued at Rs 117,150 per tola, contrasting with yesterday's figure of Rs 117,450 per tola.
This decrease in gold prices on the first day of the Falgun month, follows a period marked by fluctuations and a general devaluation of the precious metal. During the Magh month, gold experienced a significant decline of Rs 1,500 per tola.
In contrast, the price of silver has remained steady, maintaining its value at Rs 1,395 per tola, consistent with Monday's rate.
