PM Dahal assures of addressing issues of cooperatives victims

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 13

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has affirmed his commitment to addressing the grievances of victims affected by mismanagement in cooperatives and microfinances.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar today, he assured that he would promptly attend to the concerns raised by those impacted by the mismanagement of cooperatives and microfinances.

In the course of the meeting, the delegation, which included party President Rabi Lamichhane, Vice President Dr. Swarnim Wagle, and others, presented a memorandum to the Prime Minister, urging the government's active intervention to resolve the issue.

'I take this matter very seriously. A significant number of depositors have fallen victim to fraudulent practices in cooperatives and microfinances,' he remarked, underscoring his dedication to securing justice for them. The Prime Minister also appealed for the party's support in addressing the matter.
