Gold prices surge by Rs 200 per tola, silver holds steady

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 29
The price of gold in the domestic market increased by Rs 200 per tola while the silver price maintained its stability, on Sunday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 118,400 per tola, marking a rise from yesterday's rate of Rs 118,200 per tola.
Similarly, tejabi gold is now valued at Rs 117,850 per tola, compared to Wednesday's rate of Rs 117,650 per tola.
Despite the significant rise in gold prices, the silver market remained unchanged at Rs 1,375 per tola in the domestic market.
