The domestic gold market witnessed a notable uptick on Friday, with the price of fine gold surging by Rs 600 per tola, reaching Rs 119,000.

This marked a noticeable increase from the previous day's value of Rs 118,400 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA).

Similarly, the tejabi gold is also being traded at Rs 118,450 per tola, up from Thursday's Rs 117,850 per tola.

In parallel, silver also demonstrated a rise, registering a gain of Rs 15 per tola.

The current trading value stands at Rs 1,380 per tola, compared to the previous day's Rs 1,375 per tola.
