Govt ready to facilitate foreign investors: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that the government is prepared to assist foreign entrepreneurs interested in investing in Nepal.
During a meeting with a delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industries, PM Dahal indicated that the government could introduce policy reforms to facilitate foreign investment.
Additionally, foreign investors would receive logistical support when investing in potential areas in Nepal.
The delegation also met with Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun and Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Supply, Damodar Bhandari. On this occasion, Finance Minister Pun acknowledged the significant role of the Indian economy in Nepal's economy and pledged to promote trade and investment between the two countries to the best of his ability.
Similarly, Industry Minister Bhandari committed to providing necessary support to streamline the establishment of industries by foreign investors in Nepal.
The delegation, led by the President of the Confederation of Indian Industries, Sanjeev Puri, visited Kathmandu to participate in the 58th annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI).
Puri served as the keynote speaker at the FNCCI's annual general meeting, which was attended by FNCCI President Chandra Dhakal and other officials.
