JSP Nepal quits government

KATHMANDU, MAY 13

The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has withdrawn its support from the government.

In a letter addressed to Speaker Devraj Ghimire today, JSP Nepal Chair Upendra Yadav stated that the party is withdrawing its support from the current government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Yadav further expressed that the party has resigned from the present government and will assume a constructive role as the opposition in the parliament.'
