Gold price surges by Rs 1,900 per tola on Friday

KATHMANDU, JUNE 21

The gold price in the domestic market witnessed a surge of Rs 1,900 per tola on Friday. This follows an increase of Rs 600 per tola on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 144,700 per tola, up from Rs 142,800 per tola on Thursday. In the last two days, the gold price has increased by Rs 2,500 per tola after remaining stable for three days since Monday this week.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 144,000 per tola, compared to Rs 142,100 per tola on Thursday.

In addition to the rise in gold prices, the silver price also increased by Rs 25 per tola, reaching Rs 1,865 per tola today.
