KATHMANDU, JULY 3

The Salt Trading Corporation Limited (STCL) has announced an increase in the price of iodized salt.

The price of Aayo Nun, or iodized salt, has increased by Rs 3 per kilogram, effective from midnight tonight. This change raises the cost of a 1 kg packet from Rs 23 to Rs 26.

The price of New Shakti salt has also risen, now costing Rs 20 per kilogram, up from Rs 17.

Additionally, Bhanu Nun is now priced at Rs 9 per kilogram.
