PM Oli to take vote of confidence on July 21

KATHMANDU, JULY 18
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives (HoR) on July 21.
This follows the requirement under Article 76 (4) of the Constitution of Nepal, which mandates the prime minister to seek a vote of confidence within 30 days of their appointment under Article 76 (2).
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has confirmed that the proposal will be included on the agenda for the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday.
CPN-UML Chairperson Oli was appointed as Prime Minister by President Ramchandra Paudel last Sunday, supported by the Nepali Congress.
