KATHMANDU, AUGUST 19

Janai Purnima, one of the biggest festivals of Hindus, is being observed across the country on Monday.

One of most sacred Hindu temple, Pashupatinath is a hub of activity during Janai Purnima.

On this day, Hindu men, particularly Brahmins and Chhetris perform their annual change of janai and all who celebrate put a sacred thread around their wrist.
