KATHMANDU: Abhishekh Shakya and Deepa Adhikari of Avenues TV completed the clean sweep at the Inter-TV Table Tennis Tournament organized by Nepal Television to mark its silver jubilee. Abhishekh defeated Manohari Thapa of NTV 14-16, 11-8, 11-8, 11-9, 11-7 in the men’s final, while Deepa beat fellow teammate Manisha Gauchan 11-7, 11-3, 11-5 in the women’s final. Sudarshan Rajbhandari and Amit Parajuli in men’s section and Shanta Joshi and Aniti Giri in women’s section came joint third. Youth and Sports Minister Ganesh Nepali, Executive Chairman of NTV Kundan Aryal and GM Bishwo Prakash Maskey gave away prizes to the winners.
